Crazy day at work today. They upgraded the system we use to do 90% of our work, which is never a good thing because you know there will be bugs to work out. So yeah, it didn't work all morning, and then when we were able to use it, it didn't want to print our invoices right. Volunteered with my department at A Gift for Teaching this morning. We sorted and counted donations. I was given the unfortunate task of writing down the totals. I had 15 people shouting numbers at me all at once. It felt like I was on Wall Street. I doubt my counts came out terribly accurate, but I did my best. And oh yeah, I don't think ( Read more... )

Yesterday morning I went to the dentist for my deep cleaning. It wasn't too bad... for one thing they'd said it would take at least an hour, but it took half that time (although they didn't see me until 40 minutes after my appointment time). They only focused on the one small part of my mouth that had the gum disease. She used a local anesthetic ( Read more... )

After 8 straight days of exercise, yesterday I took a break. I was tired, my mouth hurt, and anyway it was a pretty crazy day. From the dentist appointment to work, and then I got home from work to find that Willow had puked in several places, most of them carpeted.
